4. Privoxy 503 Connection could not be established

Privoxy 503 Connection could not be established

    Seit einigen Stunden versuche ich schon Privoxy zum Funktionieren zu bringen. Irgendwie will er nicht.
    Firewall aus ändert auch nix. Wenn ich "direkte Verbindung zum Internet" auswähle gehts wieder, halt dann ohne Proxy.

    192.168.0.1 Router
    192.168.0.2 Mein PC
    Win98

    Privoxy->config.txt->listen-address 192.168.0.2:8118

Einstellung A:
--------------
HTTP-Proxy: localhost Port: 8118
oder
HTTP-Proxy: 127.0.0.1 Port: 8118

Firefox Fehler: Proxy-Server verweigert die Verbindung

Einstellung B:
--------------

HTTP-Proxy: 192.168.0.1 Port:8118
oder
Privoxy->config.txt->listen-address 127.0.0.1:8118

because the connection to www.google.de (127.0.0.1) could not be established.

    Firefox:
    HTTP-Proxy: 127.0.0.1 Port: 8118

    Funktioniert (hier) seit Anbeginn der Zeit völlig problemlos.
    Hast du in der config.txt irgendwas in Sachen DNS verändert?

    Funktioniert!

    DNS war das richtige Stichwort. Bei mir war bis jetzt DNS mit der IP des Routers aktiviert. Jetzt gibts auch keine minutenlangen Wartezeiten mehr.

    win98 -> Systemsteuerung -> Netzwerk -> Konfiguration -> TCP/IP -> Eigenschaften -> DNS-Konfiguration -> DNS deaktivieren

    Was noch kommt (eigentlich kein Problem):

    Nachteil:

    Wenn ich jetzt beim FF "direkte Verbindung zum Internet" einstelle, gehts wieder nicht. Aber ich könnte damit leben, weil ich weiß, wo ich was ändern muß.
