Warum funzt das:

ShowWindow(FindWindowEx(FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd",NULL),NULL,"Button",NULL),SW_HIDE);

und das:

EnableWindow(FindWindowEx(FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd",NULL),NULL,"Button",NULL),FALSE);

und das nicht?

SetWindowText(FindWindowEx(FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd",NULL),NULL,"Button",NULL),"Text");

ist der Text des Start Buttons eigentlich kein Text sondern ein Bild oder warum funzt das nich?

Es geht mit dem ResourceHacker, explorer.exe reinladen und im String-Table nach dem Eintrag suchen. Allerdings muß mans unter nem anderen namen abspeichern und später im dosmodus beide files entsprechend umbenennen (bsp. explorer.exe -> explorerold.exe, explorernew.exe -> explorer.exe). Bei mir steht schon lange nicht mehr Start auf dem Startbutton, hat auch den Vorteil dass die Taskleiste dadurch mehr Freiraum bekommt...

yep, ist mir bekannt, aber warum Software installieren wenn mans mit wenigen Handgriffen selbst machen kann?
