In Java gibt es für einen leeren String in einem Textfeld (""), wie kann man das in c++ abfangen???

Möchte eine Meldung ausgeben wenn in einem Textfeld nichts eingetragen wird.

{
  // nix drinn
}

1. kein temporäres Vergleichsobjekt benötigt AnsiString("")
2. kein Aufruf des Vergleichsoperators ==
3. Freigabe des temp. Objektes entfällt
