und editor für windows ist. 😕

Ich verwende (unter Linux UND Windows) nur gVim als Editor und als Compiler gcc (unter Windows MinGW). Für das eigentliche Bauen des Programms verwende ich SCons.
Aber dahingehend gehen die Meinungen ziemlich auseinander. Wichtig ist eigentlich nur Syntaxhighlighting im Editor und eine ordentliche Standardkonformität beim Compiler.

das ist so eines der kriterien das erfüllt sein muss ..

was noch ganz nett ist unter windows - auch bezüglich multi-language highlighting ist: weaverslave .. um kleine programme schnell zu tippen (für die uni zB) geht der editor ziemlich gut ..

hab sonst noch CrimsonEditor und Dev-Cpp die ich je nach lust und laune verwende 😉 crimson editor ist geeignet für schnelles bearbeiten, da der nicht lange braucht um zu starten .. hat allerdings kein commandline und dev-cpp liefert seinen eigenen compiler mit (ist meines wissens MingW)

dev-cpp ist dabei recht lässig da der autovervollständigung und tooltips mit library-referenzen im repetoire hat.

für remote anwendung über x-windows kann ich nur vim und andere einfachste - hauptsächlich auf commandline basierende editoren verweisen

Also mal im Ernst, da musst du dir selber suchen, was dir gefällt, teste einfach mal das was andere so nehmen 🙂

btw. ich verwende unter windows VC++ und vim mit cygwin

Trifft auch alles genau so auf mich zu, ausser das ich den vim ohne grafik benutze 🙂
(Und SCons ist echt verdammt genial, wollt ich schon immer mal anmerken, endlich bekomm ich mal Gelegenheit dazu 😉 )

🙄 Diese Aussage basiert worauf? Im Juli kam RC1, August kam RC1-1, im Moment basteln sie an RC2, letzte Entwickler-Beiträge im Forum sind von Heute, was genau macht Dich glauben es ist tot? Da kenne ich lebende Projekte die viel weniger Bewegung haben.

Oder magst Du Code::Blocks nur nicht, das ist natürlich Dein gutes Recht, aber dann sag halt das und bring keine Gerüchte auf.

PS: Das ist keine Wertung von Code::Blocks, ich beobachte es ab und an, aber benutze es nicht, ich wollte diesen Unsinn nur nicht unkommentiert lassen. 🤡

es kommt aber drauf an was du machen möchtest damit ?
also Dev++ geht bei konsolen anwendungen sehr gut und wäre ein guter anfang.
für MFC und anderes ist MV studio.net c++ nicht schlecht aber kostet auch 99? oder so kann es aber nicht 100% sagen, da meins schon bald 2 jahre hier rum liegt .

Woraus ihr nicht den Schluß ziehen solltet, dass ich Bloodshed-User bin 😉 😃

Ich nutze fast ausschließlich die MS VS-Serie. Auf der Arbeit die 2002er C++,
zu Hause die 2003er C++/C# und zum Testen die 2005er C# Beta 2.

Wenn ich denn mal Linux nutze: vim
