Bis ich da in Gimp etwas zusammengefrimmelt habe bin ich mit Bleistift und Papier schon fertig.
Ist wirklich so, obwohl ich Gimp mag und auch ein Grafiktablett habe.

(mein Scanner hat noch ein anderes Grafikprogramm mitgeliefert, aber das nehme ich hauptsächlich für Format-Konvertierungen)

GIMP hatte ich schon ganz kurz reingeschaut, aber irgendwie war da nichts mit Bildbearbeitung, gibt es da unterschiedliche Versionen?

oder, eingedeutscht, in etwa "GNU BILDVERÄNDERUNGS-PROGRAMM".

GIMP ist nicht anderes als eine Bildbearbeitungs-Software. M.E. sogar eine der Besten.

Allerdings muss man sich an die Handhabung - genau wie bei Photoshop - etwas gewöhnen. Vor allem sollte man sich bemühen, die Begriffe "Ebene", "Maske" und "Auswahl" zu verstehen. Ich empfehle da die momentan aktuelle c't (auch wenn ich das sonst selten tue).

Ich benutze allerdings für Icons noch ein uraltes Tool namens "Michelangelo" in einer Version von.. weiss nicht, 97 oder so. Und manchmal mein treues PSP5.
