<![CDATA[wchar_t* text? zuweisung]]>warum ist sowas falsch und wie müsste man es richtig machen:

wchar_t* w1 = L"Teststring";
wcscat(w1,L"...");
wcscat(w1,L"1");

ist das bei char* ebenfalls falsch?:

char* s1 = "Teststring";
strcat(s1,"...");
strcat(s1,"1");

das ist beides falsch. Denn so deklarierst du nur konstante String-Literale. Zwar fehlt des const, aber verändern darfst du sie trotzdem nicht.
Dazumust du schon selber erstmal Spei9cher anlegen und dann belegen.
Einfacher würde das mit std::string gehen.
