<p>Oder gibt es eine andere Klasse, die das gleiche bietet?</p>

<p>Seit April 2006 gibts offiziell std::tr1:unordered_map. Aber gibts bisher nur von Dinkumware für... ich glaub 99 US$ (allerdings die gesamte TR1).</p>
<p>Ansonst einfach mal bei google nach hashmap und c++ suchen.</p>

Und der lässt sich auch überreden mit VC60 (SP5) zu funktionieren.</p>

Die STL-Implementierung von map (meistens <a href="http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rot-Schwarz-Baum" rel="nofollow">Red-Black-Tree</a>) ist aber für assoziative Container im Normalfall auch in Ordnung.</p>
