wenn ja warum nicht und wie kann ich ein stringstream sonst als argument an eine funktion übergeben?

Normal hast du 2 Fälle:
a) Du möchtest innerhalb der Funktion Daten aus dem Stringstream lesen oder schreiben, d.h. du übergibst ihn als Referenz
b) Du möchtest nur die Daten im Stringstream haben, d.h. du übergibst einfach einen String mit den Daten (mit der str() methode)
