char c = 'A';
cout << (int)c; // Ausgabe von 65

// der Wert, der in data gespeichert ist soll in m_text gespeichert werden, damit ihn anzeigen kann

Vorgehensweise:

int zahl = byte;
char zahl_as_str [4];

sprintf(zahl_as_str, "%d", zahl);

// Das kannst du jetzt leicht in einen CString quetschen:
cstr = zahl_as_str;
