Willst du die Verbindung zum Internet selbst herstellen (soviel ich weiss ist das eher eine Treibergeschichte und eigentlich nicht wirklich sinnvoll sich sowas selber zu schreiben) oder willst du die Verbindung zu einem Server im Internet herstellen? Wenn zweiteres dann solltest du dich wie schon erwähnt mit Winsocks beschäftigen.

Sockets programmirung ist nich das einfachste von der Welt, es währe besser wenn du dich ersteinmal mit den grundlagen der WinAPI auseinander setzt, bevor du gleich mit solch einem schweren Thema anfängst!
