Ich benutze boost::Filesystem und es hat in der Debugkonfiguration
auch immer alles geklappt, in der Releasekonfig kriege ich allerdings eine first Chance Exception oder genau

First-chance exception at 0x7c812a5b in Hephaistos Game Studios.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: boost::filesystem::basic_filesystem_error<boost::filesystem::basic_path<std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> >,boost::filesystem::path_traits> > at memory location 0x0012fb90..
The program '[7420] Hephaistos Game Studios.exe: Native' has exited with code -1 (0xffffffff).

Der Fehler tritt gleich beim ersten Konstruktoraufruf auf:

bf::path("C:/Main/Tools/RMXP/RTP/Graphics/Tilesets/001-Grassland01.png")

Ich benutze Visual C++ 2008 und linke mit libboost_filesystem-vc80-mt-s-1_34_1.lib

Ändere den Aufruf mal in das hier

bf::path("C:/Main/Tools/RMXP/RTP/Graphics/Tilesets/001-Grassland01.png", bf::native)

Das sollte zwar in der 1.34.1 nicht mehr nötig sein, vielleicht hilfts ja doch. Dann solltest du sowieso einen try/catch-Block um einen path-Konstruktor machen.

Wenn ich das ganze in try-catch setze und mir dann what() ausgeben lasse erfahre ich auch nichts("unknown exception")

Hast du sie mit deinem Compiler erzeugt? Die bezeichnung vc8 deutet eigentlich darauf hin das die lib vom VC 2005 kommt. Sonst müsste es ja vc9 heißen.

Dass es für 2005 ist, ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen
Ich versuch ma die neue Version und kompiliers dann gleich für die 2008er Version.
Wenns dann immer noch nicht klappt hört ihr wieder von mir.
