<p>bleibt ein Iterator auf ein Element in einer C++ STL Map auch dann gültig, wenn ich neue Element in die Map einfüge, bzw lösche?</p>
<p>Auf den Seiten <a href="http://www.cppreference.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.cppreference.com/</a> und <a href="http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/" rel="nofollow">http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/</a> habe ich zu dem Thema nichts gefunden.</p>
<p>Für die SGI STL (<a href="http://www.sgi.com/tech/stl/Map.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.sgi.com/tech/stl/Map.html</a>) scheint das so zu sein:<br />
&quot;Map has the important property that inserting a new element into a map does not invalidate iterators that point to existing elements. Erasing an element from a map also does not invalidate any iterators, except, of course, for iterators that actually point to the element that is being erased.&quot;</p>
<p>Kann ich davon ausgehen, dass es dann auch für die C++ STL gilt?</p>
<p>Wo gibt es im Inet eigentlich eine vollständige Beschreibung der C++ STL und nicht nur so halbe Sachen, wie auf den oben genannten?</p>

<p>ja und nein. die meisten c++ stl (es gibt nicht eine, sondern quasi jeder compilerbauer und auch eine reihe unabhängige pflegen ihre eigene stl) halten sich sauber an den standard. was anderes als den standard hast du nicht, daher musst du damit leben.<br />
ansonsten die sgi-stl ist zum großen teil pate für die iso-stl gewesen, daher kann man deren kommentare häufig 1:1 auf die iso-stl übertragen.</p>

<p>wenn du eine mark über hast, kannst du den standard bei der iso kaufen. wenn nicht im inet gibt es einige quellen für den final draft (das ist nicht der standard, aber der letzte entwurf, der unverändert als standard verabschiedet wurde.). einfach mal google anwerfen und nach &quot;final draft c++&quot; suchen.</p>
