<p>kann man machen, ist nur sehr viel umständlicher als exceptions, die übrigens genau für diesen zweck gemacht sind.</p>

<p>Allgemein sind Exceptions sehr angenehm, da sie nicht den Returnwert beanspruchen und sie automatisch von Ebene zu Ebene durchgereicht werden, bis irgendwo eine Fehlerbehandlung ausgeführt werden kann. So müssen keine Funktionen angepasst werden und es können x-beliebige Funktionen dazwischen geschaltet werden, welche die Exceptions dann einfach durchreichen, ohne irgendwas von ihnen zu wissen.</p>
