Ist bei beiden der Grund, dass man breitere Register hat (beim ersten weniger ops, beim zweiten mehr speichertransfer)=`?

wie sieht es mit firefox, betriebssystem, latex aus? was ist da schneller?

Weil er mehr Speicher braucht wenn du mit 64 Bit Zahlen rechnest und dann kannst du alles auf die Festplatte auslagern.
