wenn ich meine exe öffne steht da z.b. "dllname.dll" not found. Ich möchte aber meine DLL umbennen. also wie kann ich in der exe festlegen nach welchem dll namen es sucht?

Also: Entweder dem Linker, oder dem Code, der die DLL Lädt (LoadLibrary(...)).

Wenn Du mit VS debug(g?)st, muss die Dll im Debug-Ordner (neben der exe) stehen. Oder im Ordner system32 (klappt nicht immer).
