hab ein problem mit nmap (insecure.org) und der host discovery per ping scan.
via wired funktioniert es bestens, aber wenn ich per wlan hosts suche, sind alle timed out.

nmap -v -v -sS -p (some ports) -host-timeout 5m 10.0.0.0/16

(host timeout hat keinen einfluss auf ping scan laut docu)

Scanning 4096 hosts [2 ports/host]
Ping Scan Timing: About 1.89% done; ETC: xx:xx (x:26:16 remaining)
Completed Ping Scan at xx:xx, 300.02s elapsed (4096 hosts timed out)

und das bei allen folgenden..

ist das ein problem mit dem wlan router, der den timeout setzt oder was könnte der grund sein?

wenn ich nur nen /24 er bereich scanne, funktioniert es :s
