Diese Variable ist eine Klassenvariable deiner Testklasse und da sie static ist, nur innerhalb dieser Klasse sichtbar.

Was natürlich nicht stimmt. Sie ist nur innerhalb der Klasse sichtbar, weil sie private ist. static hat in dem Fall mit Sichtbarkeit nichts zu tun.
