damit kannst du dein linux auf usb installieren und davon booten, falls es dir gefaellt, koenntest du auch direkt installieren.

bekannteste linux test version ist knoppix

ich hab es zwar noch nicht getestet, aber colinux soll unter windows als quasi VM laufen, man muss also nichtmal booten.

Zum Reinschnuppern und vielleicht sogar Dabeibleiben empfehle ich auch Ubuntu.

Sidux, ist ein wenig schwieriger (sehr haeufige Updates, die manchmal Apps entfernen wollen, da muss man aufoassen, der Networkmanager ist ceni, eine consolen-Anwendung, package installieren geht mit apt-get am besten), dafuer hast du stabiles Bleeding-Edge.

Ich benuzte grade Crunchbang Linux, bassiert auf Ubuntu, hat wie Mint Linux mp3, flash, skype installiert. Aber es hat den eher anders aufgebauten Openbox Windowsmanager. Ist aber gar nicht so schlecht, bin sehr begeistert davon.

Ansonsten kannst ja die ueblichen Kandidaten ausprobieren, wie Fedora, OpenSuse, Mandriva, Ubuntu, usw.

Im Ernst, benutz das ganz normale Ubuntu. Dort findest du auch tonnenweise Dokumentation und Foren voller hilfsbereiter Nutzer. Im Problemfall findest du meistens eine vollständig erklärte Lösung mit Google "Ubuntu" + PROBLEMPROBLEM 😉

probier doch einfach mehrere aus, z.B. Ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/.
Ich gehe jetzt einfach mal davon aus, das du Windows benutzt und nen DSL Anschluß hast?
Kannst du das Ubuntu Image runterladen und ohne auf DVD zu brennen mit Wubi http://wubi-installer.org/ zu deinem Windows dazuinstallieren. Wenns dir nicht gefällt kannst du es wie ein Windowsprogrammm in der Systemsteuerung deinstallieren.
