Der inkompetente Autor schmeißt Code-Beispiele und teils unpassende Erklärungen zusammen um auf 1000 Seiten zu kommen, wobei gefälschte Rezensionen auf Amazon das Stück Scheiße noch Lobpreisen.

Schau auf Stackoverflow nach der The Definitive C++ Book Guide and List.

Im Allgemeinen sind alle Bücher von Jürgen Wolf (und dem Galileo Computing Verlag) definitiv zu empfehlen!

Ich habe das Buch nicht aber ich habe bisher nur negatives gehört. Auch aus einigen Fragen von Anfängern, die das Buch C++ von A bis Z haben, wird schnell ersichtlich, dass das Buch nichts taugt.
