Wenn du was über Close(); wissen willst guck mal in der BCB-Hilfe unter TForm nach.

Form1->Close(); damit schließt du nur die Form und wenn das nich die MainForm is (Is zwar in deinem Fall so aber muss ja nich immer so sein) dann wird das Programm auch nich geschlossen.
