Seit neustem auch freigestellt, aber das war nie der Hintergedanke dabei.

Ich habs auch noch 9 Jahre ausgehalten. Aufgehört habe ich, weil da meist nur der eigene Brand gelöscht wird. 🙄

kommt halt drauf an wo man ist. bei uns ist auch nicht so viel los aber den eigenen brand zu löschen ist ja auch net schlecht.

Das ist doch nichts schlechtes, ganz im Gegenteil.
Und abgesehen davon, wer nur den Held spielen will ist vollkommen fehl am Platze, nicht wegen mancherorts mangels Gelegenheiten, sondern generell. Bei uns gibt es immer irgendwelche Arbeit (Löschfahrzeuge die schon über 20 Jahre auf dem Buckel haben müssen noch mindestens 10 Jahre Dienst leisten und wollen gepflegt werden), das kriegt Ottonormalbürger natürlich nicht mit. Im Gedächtnis bleibt das was man sieht, "die blöde Feuerwehr hat die Straße gesperrt und ich musste einen Umweg fahren". Ist nicht immer nur nettes was einem gesagt wird.
