    hmm, so spontan würde ich sagen: Änder mal das /dev/hdc in der fstab zu /dev/hdd

    (oder probier erst mal auf der Konsole mit

    sudo mount /dev/hdd /mnt

    thknopp, warum fährst Du eigentlich nicht gleich zu ihm, um ihm das schwere Abtippen abzunehmen?

    man sry bin noob im bereich linux, und sobald das dvd-lafuwerk funzt installiere ihc mir ein anderes linux, und dann lies ich mal so ein tut durch.

    ich hab 2 laufwerke drinnen, in einem is ne dvd im anderem nix, liegts vllt an dem?

    Also ist hdd das andere Laufwerk? Dann scheint er dein neues Laufwerk nicht zu finden. Steck es vielleicht mal um.

    Der Hardware-Manager sollte da zu finden sein, wo auch die anderen Konfigurationswerkzeuge zu finden sind.

    also ich hab umgesteckt, und im hardwaremanager(falls es das ist wo ich war) wird es jetzt als /dev/hdc angezeigt, wenn ich jetzt öffnen will kommt zu erst eine zeit lang:"CD/DVD-Laufwerk wird geöffnet." und dann kommt wieder das es net eingebunden werden kann....

    zeig noch mal die Ausgabe von dmesg | grep hd, nach dem du es umgesteckt hast

    als ich ihn startete stand dort das dass laden der hardware driver fehlgeschlagen is, nur wo bekomm ich den driver für das lafuwerk, und wie installier ich den richtig?

    naja hab jetzt länger zeit nix machen können da ich in ner klinik war.......lange geschichte.....

    aber wie installier ich den treiber zu meinem dvd-lafuwerk, hab hier die datei "SH-S182M_SB03.BIN" nur was mus ich jetzt damit machen?
