Wie finde ich heraus auf welchem Prozessor der Thread läuft/wieviele Prozessoren es gibt?

Hallo,
gibt es für Boost-Threads eine Funktion welche mir sagt auf welchem Prozessor der jeweilige Thread läuft?(eine Funktion mit welcher ich einen Thread an einen Prozessor binden kanne habe ich bereits)
Und gibt es eine Funktion welche mir zurückliefert wieviel Prozessoren es auf dem System gibt?

mal ne msdn suche (ca. 20sec), wusste allerdings das es das dort gibt:
Retrieves the processor group and number of the logical processor in which the calling thread is running.
