Textbox auf anderem Fenster auslesen

Hallo, wie kann ich eine Textbox (Controls) auf einem anderen Fenster auslesen?
Handle des Controls habe ich,aber wie geht es weiter?

mit GetWindowText bzw. zuerst GetWindowTextLength
