Also bei mir läuft es mit dem kostenlosen Portal. Allerdings ist auf dem Account das normale Half-Life 2 freigeschaltet. Vielleicht beeinflusst das etwas, auch wenn es nicht installiert ist.

Im Forum von denen ist ne Anleitung wies auch ohne geht
1. You need to start Portal first, because Steam has to extract the downloaded content
2. After that it is in "path to your program folder\Steam\steamapps\your account name\portal"
3. Now create a folder and copy the files of the mod that you want to play in it
4. Create a text file with the content: call hl2.exe -game "name of your folder"
5. Rename the files ending from .txt to .bat
6. To start the mod just start that file
7. Make sure you never update Portal, so they cannot close this waySorry for my english (Im from Argentina) but
I have a temporal form to play portal prelude in the free version of portal,
First install Portal Prelude in "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\steamapps\steamuser\portal"
Second go to "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\steamapps\steamuser\portal" and rename the folder "portal prelude" to "portalprelude"
Third open Steam and go to "Add Game", "Add an non steam game", and look for the "hl2.exe" in "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\steamapps\steamuser\portal" and accept
Fourth go to the properties of your new game called "hl2" and in the box name put "Portal: Prelude" and in the target box put -game portalprelude
will be something like "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\steamapps\july_mustang\portal\hl2.exe" -game portalprelude
close that window and play big_smileI hope this be usefull

Das Spiel ist ganz nett. Aber ich hätte es glaube ich nicht gekauft. Dafür ist es ziemlich kurz und hat mich nicht so wirklich mitgerissen (ist halt ein Rätselspiel).
btw. Stream
Ist echt nervig, wenn man erst auf das Laden von Stream und dann auf den Login warten muss, bevor das Spiel selbst einmal lädt.

Ich fand Steam am Anfang auch scheisse, mittlerweile einfach nur spitze. Hab neulich einen neuen Rechner aufgesetzt und konnte dank Steam alle meine Spieler wieder installieren, ohne Dutzende DVDs samt Keys zu suchen.
Portal war enthalten in der Orange Box. Man bekam 5 grandiose Spiele zum Preis von einem. Unschlagbares Angebot.

Ältere Macs hatten nur eine Maus mit einer Maustaste.(Inzwischen nicht mehr?)
Aufjedenfall kann man bei Portal 2 Portale öffnen, mit linker und rechter maustaste. Da diese Mäuse aber nur eine hatten..^^
