Background ComboBox?

Hallo,

ich komme nicht klar mit den ControlTemplates von WPF, in meinem Fall für die ComboBox. Ich möchte zur Laufzeit die Hintergrundfarbe des editierbaren Textfeldes der Combobox in Abhängig der Anzahl der Zeichen verändern. Anbei mein CodeBehind:

Im Grunde ganz simple. Für konventionelle Textboxen funktioniert das ja wunderbar. Aber nicht für die ComboBoxen. Ich bin nun soweit, dass ich um die <ControlTemplates> weiß - also, dass es diese gibt. Aber wie muss ich diese auf meine Wünsche anpassen. Ich habe eine Kopie in meinem XAML via VS erstellt:

Ich kann in Zweile 20 des XAMLs die Farbe ändern, aber eben nur statisch und nicht zur Laufzeit. Wie lässt sich das realisieren?

Du könntest entweder {DynamicResource {...}} (wie du es ja auch bei anderen Eigenschaften bisher nutzt) verwenden oder aber noch besser per [Artikel] MVVM und DataBinding, so daß du den Code im ViewModel anstatt im CodeBehind hast (ist zwar ersteinmal eine größere Umstellung, aber eigentlich bei WPF-Projekten Pflicht).

ich mache beim DataBinding im Fall der ComboBox offenbar etwas falsch. Ich habe das CodeBehinde wie folgt angepasst:

Das Programm kommt definitiv an Zeile 12 im CodeBehind vorbei, wenn ich den Inhalt der ComboBox zur Laufzeit ändere. Das funktioniert also. Aber der Hintergrund wird nicht verändert.

Was genau meinst du mit csharp {DynamicResource {...}}? Damit habe ich bisher noch nicht gearbeitet.

Du nutzt doch schon Style="{DynamicResource ValidationStyle}"?!

Aber das DataBinding sollte auch so funktionieren - ich sehe so ersteinmal keinen Fehler.

RefreshBackground() kannst du jedoch verkürzen zu:

(im Setter von BackgroundColor wird ja RaisePropertyChanged() aufgerufen)
bzw. ich persönlich würde es so schreiben (ich mag keine Codewiederholung):

var color = ComboBox.Text.Length > 4 ? Colors.White : Colors.Red;
BackgroundColor = new SolidColorBrush(color);

Teste dies mal aus.

Edit:
Ich habe gerade noch mal danach im Internet gesucht - es scheint so zu sein, daß der ComboBox.Background-Wert zur Laufzeit nicht direkt geändert werden kann, sondern ein eigenes Template benutzt werden muß, s. WPF Change Background color of a Combobox bzw. Changing the background colour of a ComboBox in WPF on Windows 8.

PS: Und üblicherweise erzeugt man eine eigene ViewModel-Klasse (für den DataContext) und packt PropertyChanged sowie RaisePropertyChanged in eine Basisklasse ViewModelBase (damit es wiederverwertbar ist).

also irgendwie ist im Netz nichts zu finden, dass jemand die Hintergrundfarbe dynamisch ändert. Ich fürchte, ich muss das mal Thema mal schieben.
