Auflösung umschalten



  • da brauch ich nicht viel verändern..
    mit strg+alt++/- funktioniert nur die auflösung 1280*1024 (das ist auch ok so) nur alle anderen eben nicht...
    x stürzt auch nicht ab...



  • Ich hab in der Monitor Section mit der HorizSync herumgespielt; es scheint so, als würde X zwar die auflösung wechseln, aber die HorizSync gleichbleiben lassen.
    deshalb ist das bild auch so verzerrt, denk ich.
    nur: mehr als einen Bereich 30-80 oder die einzelnen werte 60.0, 63.9, 80.0 aus dem manual des monitors eintragen, das kann ich auch nicht.

    hier kann ich zwar die auflösungen ändern, allerdings gibt es bei jeder auflösung nach start eines programms streifen (pixelige) am ganzen bildschhirm-> unbenutzbera.
    außerdem: wenn ich den virtualsceen großer mache, dann gibt es noch mehr streifen. Die Option plug&play monitor hab ich schon mit on/off(und dann eben die benutzerdefinierten hs und vs) ausprobiert. immer mit striefen

  • wenn ich den Virtual Screen auf die gewünschte auflösung (manuell) umschalte, dann funktioniert es genau in dieser auflösung.

    dann funktioniert ebendieser modus. und NUR dieser.

    Virtual 0 0

    irgendwo hab ich gehört, dass da der virtuelle screen angepasst wird. schein aber nicht zu klappen...



  • Uff, das sieht ja heftig aus; soll ich einfach mal meine handgeschriebene XF86Config posten? Die ist weitaus übersichtlicher und das Anpassen an Deine Hardware wird ziemlich leicht sein.

  • Hallo,
    das funktioniert leider auch nicht. VESA Treiber- gleiches Problem, fglrx (Radeon) Treiber auch. Ich glaub ich werd auf die nächste XFree Version warten (oder irgendwann auf X Server von freedesktop.org umsteigen).
    Derweil starte ich X einfach auf verschiedenen displays mit unterschiedlicher auflösung.
