string to const char*

Hab folgendes Problem:
Ich arbeite mit verschiedenen Filenamen, dazu verwende ich als Type string.
Wenn ich jetzt aber ein File öffnen will, verlangt die open-Funktion von ofstream ein const char*.

string my_file_name = "file.txt";
ofstream my_file;
my_file.open(my_file_name);

Wie kann ich den string am besten in ein const char* umwandeln?
