ACML kennt kein bool

Hallo,
ich habe mir gestern mal die ACML 2.6 von AMD runtergeladen und zum laufen bekommen.
Bei der Erweiterung eines Beispiels merkte ich, dass ich keine Variablen vom Typ bool definieren kann.

Hier mal das Beispielprogramm (zfft1d_c_example.c):

Versuche ich nun eine boolsche Variable zu verwenden,

bool chk = false;

, erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung.

error C2061: Syntaxfehler : Bezeichner 'chk'
error C2059: Syntaxfehler : ';'
error C2513: '/*global*/ ' : Keine Variable vor '=' deklariert
error C2065: 'false' : nichtdeklarierter Bezeichner

Kann mir das bitte jemand erklären?

C hat keinen Typ bool. Ok hat es seit neustem doch aber das unterstützt der Microsoft Compiler glaub ich nicht und da muss man auch noch stdbool.h einbinden.

Oder du definierst es dir selber:

typedef enum {false,true} bool

@stdbool: C hat immer noch keinen bool-Typ - C++ hat

Nun noch eine Frage dazu, wenn ich das jetzt in ein MFC Prgramm einbinde, bekome ich dann nicht Probleme mit der doppelten typdefinition?

Da gibt es Probleme mit einer inline Definition in der math.h, die von der acml.h verwendet wird.

Ich habe jetzt 2 Lösungen, und würde gern wissen ob beide ok sind.
Lösung 1:
Ich packe den ganzen ACML-Kram mit extern ein.

Lösung2:
Ich mache ein separates Programm daraus und rufe es zur Laufzeit des Hauptprogrammes auf.
