Board flashen vor oder nach CPU einbau?

    Hallo zusammen,

    habe folgendes MB: MSI k9a2 v2 Platinum
    Das Board ist Am2+ und AM3 Ready

    Habe bisher den CPU Amd 6400+ drin gehabt(am2+)

    Habe mir heute den AMD x4 955 gekauft(am3)

    Jetzt müsste ich ja das bios flashen... muss ich das vor den einbau oder nach dem einbau machen?

    welches der version muss ich nehmen? 1.9 oder 2.A?

    und läuft mein alter cpu dann auch noch darauf?

    Ohne CPU wirst du bei Booten kaum sehr weit kommen...
    Falls deine neue CPU ohne BIOS-Upgrade nicht läuft, würde ich sicherheitshalber noch mit der alten CPU das Upgrade machen.

    Und ob deine CPU hinterher noch läuft kann dir nur der Hersteller beantworten. Es wäre aber sehr ungewöhnlich bei einem BIOS-Upgrade die Unterstützung für eine CPU rauszupatchen.

    danke, irgendwie funktioniert das flashen nicht...

    wenn ich die exe starte, steht dort aber als fehlermeldung:

    Diese Version der Datei ist nicht mit der ausgeführten Windows Version kompatibel. Ich soll überprügen ob eine x64 oder x86 Version des Programms erforderlich ist.

    Ich brauch eine x64(64bit)

    Tja, sieht so aus, als müsstest du dir irgendwo eine Windows 98 oder ME Startdiskette besorgen. Ich hoffe, du hast überhaupt ein Diskettenlaufwerk.
