Ich habe den Begriff bisher vor allem im Zusammenhang mit GPUs gehört/gelesen, was mit dieser Definition auch übereinstimmen würde.

Ich kenne "many core" bisher nur von AMDs "Magny-Cours Opteron" Serie.
