Programm welches Anwendung schneller macht

Hoi, ich hatte vor Jahren mal ein Programm womit man am PC alles schneller laufen lassen konnte.

Ich fand das damals ganz interessant weil man damit auch Windows etwas schneller machen konnte.^^

Hat wer eine Ahnung wie das Programm intern funktionieren könnte?

Warum werden Anwendungen damit auf einmal so schnell? Ich hatte das Programm z.b. mal irgendwann in Anno 1701 getestet.

Da fuhr mein Segelschiff so schnell wie ein Motorboot. :xmas1:

Ich habe vorhin mal Pinball mir im Debugger angeschaut.

Ich dachte zuerst an Funktionen wie: GetTickCount und QueryPerformanceCounter

Ich hab einfach mal zum Test die Rückgabewerte der Funktionen verändert aber das Pinball lief normal weiter ...

Ich habe noch das Programm Cheat Engine entdeckt was auch so eine Funktion beinhaltet womit man bestimmte Anwendungen beschleunigen kann.

Cheat Engine Injectet eine DLL in den Prozess und erstellt dann im Zielprozess einen neuen Thread. Durch die Cheat Engine DLL wurden auch die Funktionen GetTickCount und QueryPerformanceCounter aufgerufen.
Wie das ganze weiter funktioniert hab ich leider noch nicht rausgefunden.

Falls noch wer eine Idee hat dann nur her damit.^^
