Windows XP: Läuft bei euch auch die Anwendung fxssvc.exe?

Jo, das wollt ich euch mal gefragt haben. Bei mir läuft die und nimmt 3 Ports (1394, 123, 1029) in Anspruch. Die EXE sitzt in C:\Windows\System32.

nein, bei mir greifen nur lsass.exe, svchost.exe und SYSTEM (ohne .exe) auf das Netzwerk (Internet) zu und die listenen auch nur (wenn nicht gerade im Netzwerk ein neuer PC angeschalten wurde, dann wird logischerweise zur Identifikation kurz eine TCP-Verbindung geöffnet, das Checken, ob er noch da ist, geht IIRC per UDP).

This service is responsible for sending and receiving faxes, as well as logging various stats about your faxing loads, archiving sent faxes, and configuration of your fax device (fax modem, fax port).
Recommendation : Set to disabled or manual in "Administrative Tools / Services" in the Control Panel if you do not use Microsoft Fax. This is especially important given that this service uses a lot of memory and, also, it will often generate boot-up errors if it is enabled but was never configured.

Danke. Jetzt sind's nur noch svchost und explorer.exe, die die Ports abfragen. Aber ich frag mich gerade, wieso explorer.exe. lsass läuft bei mir zwar, aber horcht keinen Port ab.
@ChrisM: Woher weißt du, welche Anwendungen gerade auf das Internet zugreifen?
EDIT: Ah ja, auch SYSTEM horcht bei mir. Aber das ist bei dir (ChrisM) ja auch so.
