ich hab ien programm geschrieben um das administrator-passwort eines windowsrechners rauszufinden. dabei probiere ich einfach alle möglichen kombinationen der festgelegten zeichen (a-z, A-Z, 0-9).
die zugriffsversuche erfolgen über WNetAddConnection(...)
das problem ist die zeit um das paswort rauzufinden erhöt sich expotenziell zur passwortlänge. 3zeichen ~ paar minuten, 6zeichen ~ paar wochen (100ms/versuch)
um den algorithmus zu beschleunigen hab ich mal die buchstabenreihenfolge geändert nach wahrscheinlichkeit, also nicht a,b,c,d,e.. sondern e,n,r,i,s,a,t...
jetzt die farge; wie könnte ich den algorithmus weiter verbessern um das passwort schneller zu finden?

Wenn wirklich alle Möglichkeit vorkommen können kannst Du den Algorithmus wahrscheinlich nicht weiter verbessern.
Helfen könnten zum Beispiel folgende Infos:
- Länge des PWs
- nur der erste Buchstabe groß
etc.
Jeder Buchstabe den Du ausschließen kannst bringt viel.btw.: Was hat das mit Kryptoanalyse zu tun?

Möglicherweise interessiert dich eine andere Möglichkeit einen Account zu überprüfen, direkt mit der Win-API.
Ein Programm von mir überprüft in der Minute ca. 20000 Passwort-Kombinationen (auf einem 600 Mhz Celereon), was einer Überprüfung von einer Kombinationen pro 3 Millisekunden bedeutet.Für ein fünfstelliges lokales Admin-Passwort, das nur aus Kleinbuchstaben besteht ( 11881376 mögliche Kombinationen) brauch ich also durchschnittlich ca. 5 Stunden.
Für ein sechsstelliges mit Zahlen und Kleinbuchstaben gibt es 2176782336 mögliche Kombinationen und es dauert durchschnittlich 905 Stunden dieses zu ermitteln.
Für Kryptoanalyse (die damit nichts zu tun hat) empfehle ich folgendes:

dort sind eigentlich alle relavanten grundsätzlichen Verfahren zu Ver- und Entschlüsselung ausführlichst erklärt, u.a. DES.

Die relevanten API-Funktionen hat er ja genannt? Also ein bischen denken solltest auch selber noch können....spziell bei der Sorte von tools. Wer Hacker/Cracker sein will sollte sich nciht mit fremden Federn schmücken...

Es gab da einen MSDN-Artikel, wo ich den gefunden hab und ein Programm drumgebastelt habe.aber dein programm funktioniert nur lokal oder?
Nein, eigentlich funktioniert es auch in der Domäne, aber da jeder Account nicht-Admin Account nach ein paar Fehlversuchen gesperrt wird(selbst wenn "Das Konto kann nicht gesperrt" aktiviert ist, wird se doch nach ein paar 100(?) Fehlversuchen gesperrt), bleiben nur lokale Admins und Domänen-Admins übrig.

1. hab ich nicht behauptet ein hacker zu sein und 2. die API-Funktionen interessieren mich nicht, aber die methode um die passwörter zu generieren. momentan mach ich des mit einer rekursiven funktion, aber in der ist es ziemlich schwierig noch mehr logik z.b. durch bigramme rein zu bekommen.
