Oh mein Gott, ich hab es. Habe hier nun gelesen, dass UpdateData() nicht threadsicher ist, damit funktioniert es nun:
m_MyTabCtrl.m_tabPages[2]->SetDlgItemText(IDC_EDIT, m_sEdit);
